If you're headed to Kobe and fancy a cozy and affordable stay, Minato Hutte is just the ticket. Nestled only a stone's throw from Sannomiya station, this little gem combines comfort and convenience-perfect for both solo adventurers and small groups like the one I traveled with. The beds are absolute clouds; I slept like a log every single night. The shared lounge is a great spot to unwind after a day of exploring the vibrant streets of Kobe, and having a bar on-site is a definite perk-cheers to that! Daily essentials like coffee and tea are provided, but don't forget your toiletries, as they're not complimentary. If you do find yourself in need, they've thoughtfully stocked some goodies for a small fee. What struck me about the place was the thoughtful design of the sleeping pods. Although some might find the walls a bit thin, I had no issues and appreciated the solid ventilation and light-blocking features. Honestly, it was the perfect base for my beer trail in the area, with must-visit microbreweries and beer tours nearby. If you're seeking an affordable taste of Kobe with all the traveler essentials, Minato Hutte definitely hits the spot!
